Development in Early Adulthood

As age increases, life becomes more challenging. Early adulthood also holds key features in development. Because early adulthood begins with college life. In school and college life, the student mostly depends on the lecture method. So, students use more of their cognitive power.

This stage occurs between 18 to 40 years. During 20 to 30 years, declines in body functioning and changes in physical appearance in a gradual process. And, this period is gradually decreasing the Height and sense organs capacity.

Types of Development in Early Adulthood

Fat grows very fast. Because they start more fast food.  And, height is slightly increasing. The social environment has an impact on physical health. Because Adulthood has more socialized by getting into the business.

Development of the Early Adulthood

1. Physical Changes

In this stage, physical changes lead to changes in body parts’ shape and slow processing also.

Physical Changes

Cardiovascular, Respiratory, Immune system, Muscular, and Skin are in gradual processing.

2. Social Development

Adults are involved in social activities. Maintaining social relationships is a challenge for adults. Because for the adult, many problems keep coming in society. And sometimes he doesn’t understand these problems. These problems bring changes in their relationship. Because he lives in society. So, man learns to maintain his relations and connections.

3. Reproductive Activity

There is a lot of sexual activity in early adulthood. And hypothalamus is responsible for sexual activity.

Studies show that starting age of early adulthood leads to pregnancy presented with the help of ideal because at this time lower risk of miscarriage and chromosomal disorders (Trisomy, Knilefelter, Down Syndrome, Monosomy).

At the end of this period, female fertility is largely due to the reduced number and quality of ova.

Women have normal menstrual cycles but do not conceive because the ovum is low. After 35 age, in males, the percentage of sperm decreases gradually.

4. Cognitive Development

Cognitive development leads to the development of the cerebral cortex including the prefrontal cortex. Pruning of synapses is growth and myelination is continuing at a slower level.

This development is also at its peak in this early adulthood. And they need more cognitive power. Because he is preparing for the exam for the job.

5. Diversity Lifestyle

Many factors affect the lifestyle of adulthood and face many problems.  Adulthood’s lifestyle gets worse when there is more money. Because they start more enjoyment with friends. These problems are singlehood, cohabitation, childlessness, divorce, remarriage, and dual physical relationship.

 

Diversity of Adulthood Lifestyle

I. Singlehood     Adults are facing the problem of singlehood. And many reasons for singlehood life. These reasons are unemployment, Not attractive physical characteristics, and economical conditions weak.

II. Cohabitation      It leads to the lifestyle of unmarried couples who have an establishing sexual relationship and share a residence. Cohabitation is an alternative to marriage life.

III. Childlessness   In some conditions, adults married for many years but did not have children.

IV. Divorce      Persons are facing problems related to divorce.
There are many reasons for divorce. They are dual affairs, childlessness, sexually transmitted diseases, not sexual satisfaction, the maximum gap in age, psychological factors(Depression, Tension), and not spending maximum time with a partner.

V. Remarriage      If one marriage is not successful then adults try for the next marriage. This process is called remarriage. And, there are many factors involved in remarriage. These factors are not satisfied with the previous marriage, childlessness, dual affairs, and sexual not satisfaction.

VI. Dual Physical Relationship     People are established dual physical relationships with other people in an illegal way. And, dual physical relationship is the main cause of divorce.

 

Conclusion

Because adulthood adopts an occupation. So, his attraction toward other people starts decreasing. And now their main purpose is to earn money. When he is not successful in one business, he chooses another business.

In this period, he wants quick success. So, they leave the first business. When adults can’t adjust to the family. Then it becomes a problem for him. Because many responsibilities have to be performed for the family.

If he fails to fulfill his responsibilities. Then he may face problems related to divorce. And divorce can also have many reasons. When you don’t spend time with your life partner. And unable to meet her sex-related needs. Then it becomes very difficult to make adjustments in life.
